Can I see a sofa in person?

Currently all of our sales are online. We’re working on a permanent space where you can sit in a sofa before making a purchase.

How long does it take to get my sofa after I order?

If you live in Utah, it takes about four weeks for us to build your sofa and deliver it. Currently, due to fabric shortages and high demand, we estimate six to eight weeks.

Where do you ship?

We are a local business and offer free delivery in Salt Lake and Utah counties, with discounted shipping ($100) to surrounding areas. If you live outside of our delivery range and would like a Salt Sofa, we offer free pickup. The cost of shipping furniture out of state is very high. We’re working on solutions to get the cost down for everyone outside of Utah.

Do the pieces hook together?

Yes! There are clips under each piece that you can slide out to snap the pieces together. We don’t include clips on the ottomans because most people like to move them around, but we can include them on request.

What are a sofa’s dimensions?

Each piece is 36 inches in length x 36 inches in width. The bottom seat cushions are 31 inches deep, but when you add the back pillows it leaves a seat depth of 22 inches. The seat height is 18 inches. The height from the floor to the top of the back of the couch is 30 inches. The pillows sit about 6 inches over the top of the back of each piece.

What are the cushions made out of?

The back cushions are loose back and a polyester fill. The bottom cushions are made of high density foam that breaks in nicely but maintains its shape over time.

Can I wash the fabric?

All of our fabrics are inherently stain resistant and can be cleaned with almost any householder cleaner (water and soap works best). However, our sofas aren’t currently designed to remove the cushion filling and put the fabric in the washing machine. It’s something we’re considering and will keep our site up to date on any changes.

What is the return policy?

We’re confident you’ll love your Salt Sofa. However, if you’d like to make a return, you can contact our customer service team by completing the “contact us” form on our website, who will coordinate a pickup. Salt Sofas reserves the right to choose the method of return. Our customer service team will provide instructions on how to proceed. Eligible merchandise may be returned within 7 days from the date you received it for a full refund of the purchase price, minus a $500 restocking fee. Any shipping and/or delivery fees are non-refundable. Customers are responsible for all return shipping fees in the event of a return, which will be communicated prior to confirming your return pickup. All sales on clearance merchandise are final and are not eligible for a refund. Proof of purchase is required for all returns and refunds.

Products must be in their original condition to be eligible for return (e.g., no stains, marks or other soiling, including odors). Accepting returns is at the sole discretion of Salt Sofa’s evaluation of the condition of the merchandise. Salt Sofas can refuse any returns and may request descriptions and/or images of the merchandise to determine the state of the product prior to accepting returns. Failure to complete the returns process within 2 weeks of being provided instructions from Salt Sofas may result in a refusal of return.
